Iowa Town, IA, quartet Alto Heceta formed in 1999 when guitarists and vocalists Adam Penly and Dino Balocchi formed the music group with drummer Matt Heideman and bassist Tim Borkowsky. In nov 2000, the music group released The Safe and sound in Stereo system EP on Synaptic Strategy Information. The debut EP received nationwide praise as well as the band continued to execute with such rings as Rainer Maria, Cursive, Jets to Brazil, Joan of Arc, and Nymb. That 1st release was around the CMJ university radio graphs for a month. IN-MAY 2001, the music group joined causes with another Iowa Town band, Velocity of Sauce, liberating a split Compact disc on Synaptic Strategy. The two rings toured the Midwest to aid the CD.
