Alan Tam

Most widely known for his intimate ballads, Hong Kong story Alan Tam was being among the most popular Cantopop performers from the 1980s. Given birth to in Hong Kong on August 23, 1950, he started his profession as an associate from the Wynners, with whom he experienced his initial taste of achievement. He embarked on his single profession in 1979 using the debut record Naughty Boy. Through the 1980s his reputation rose significantly, to the main point where the Hong Kong press pitted him as the rival of fellow Cantopop tale Leslie Cheung with regards to success.
