Punk survivors ADZ formed in 1991 in the remnants from the legendary Orange State band the Children, reuniting primary frontman Tony Reflex (a.k.a. Tony Adolescent), guitarist Rikk Agnew and drummer Casey Royer. Shortening their name to ADZ, the group agreed upon with Lethal Information release a their comeback work Where Had been You?; when both Royer and Agnew give up after only a handful of regional displays, Reflex opted to keep on, recruiting guitarists Kirk Mosher and Roger Ramjet, bassist Mike Rouse and drummer Matt Youthful for the follow-up, 1995’s Piper on the Gates of Downey. Another group of line-up adjustments noticed Ramjet and Rouse leave and only original Children guitarist Frank Agnew, guitarist “Slippery” George Paras and bassist Bruce Duff; Transmissions from Globe Speedball implemented in 1998, along with a year afterwards ADZ released Odz’n’Sodz.
