Absofacto

Absofacto may be the single task of Michigan-based songwriter/maker Jonathan Visger. Visger is a fixture in the Michigan indie rock and roll picture since 2003, when he created the experimental pop music group Mason Proper in the North Michigan city of Alpena. The music group eventually relocated towards the Ann Arbor region, where they released two albums on New York’s Dovecote Information. In 2008, Visger started to record his single work beneath the moniker Absofacto, self-releasing singles and EPs via Bandcamp and by himself site. Pairing his smart artwork pop with unique visual pictures from Detroit style company Silent Giants, Visger has generated a distinctive and definitive brand for his music. In 2011, the singles had been compiled right into a full-length release entitled Sinking Islands. The [Loners] EP implemented in June of 2013.
