Twinsmith

Twinsmith are an Omaha-based indie quartet using a sunny, chilled-out browse pop vibe. Close friends Jordan Smith (vocals, guitars) and Matt Regner (vocals, electric guitar, keyboards) originally controlled a far more Americana-inspired edition of the group known as Betsy Wells before changing both their name and their innovative training course. Rechristening themselves as Twinsmith (a play on Jordan’s surname as well as the Minnesota Twins football group), they recruited drummer Oliver J. Morgan and bassist Costs Sharp and documented their self-titled debut in the springtime of 2013. Shortly following the album’s discharge, they were contacted by veteran Omaha indie Saddle Creek Information to record a 7″ one called “Truthfully.” With a fresh label deal set up, Twinsmith spent 2014 composing and documenting their follow-up, Alligator Years, which found its way to early 2015.
