Mark Matos

West Coast vocalist/songwriter Tag Matos grew up within a big Portuguese immigrant community in California’s Bay Region. Matos assumed the part of musical journeyman during his formative years, ultimately getting in Tucson, AZ, in 2003, where he started playing and documenting beneath the moniker Campo Bravo. 3 years later on he came back to his indigenous SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA and created the country-tinged psych-folk sound rock outfit Tag Matos & Operating-system Beaches. The music group’s eclectic mixture of ’60s tropicalia and American psychedelic origins rock captured the ears of Bay Region label Porto Franco Information, which released the music group’s debut, Terms of the Blade, on November 17, 2009.
