Created by ex-ZZ en de Maskers singer Bob Bouber, Amsterdam strap Het released four singles (half in Dutch, half in English) in 1966 and 1967. They were quite definitely in the design dubbed by in-the-know enthusiasts as “niederbiet,” acquiring inspiration from your rowdier English Invasion rings, but adding some filter systems that to British speakers seem unusual and a little twisted, specifically in the rhythmic and vocal enunciation departments. The majority of their materials was original, using the to begin their 45s, “Ik Heb Geen Zin Om Op Te Staan”/”Alleen Op Het Kerkhof,” producing the very best Ten in holland.
