Rocket Science

Produced in 1999 in the Toronto area, this group led by previous Transformation of Heart singer Rob Higgins made a large hype around the region using its spacy, Primus-like funk music combined with some highbrow, smart rock ideas. In 2001, the group performed at several celebration and musical showcases, including Edgefest aswell as on the North by Northeast Celebration. The group’s debut record, Foolscap, premiered in 2002 and was made by Hurry guitarist and vocalist Geddy Lee. The record was also documented at Lee’s house studio, Reaction as well as the Signal to Sound.
