Glen Cormier

Joseph Glen Cormier was the bassist and frontman for Glen Cormier & Cajun Organization. He and his brothers created this traditional family members music group in his hometown of Chapel Stage, Louisiana — among the hotbeds of Cajun music. Although group just released one recording, La Bonne Compagnie, in 1990, these were energetic and popular around the Louisiana circuit and added to many compilations, like the three download-only quantities of Cajun Swamp. Cormier passed away this year 2010, at age 47. His child, accordionist Brennon Cormier, became the frontman for Cajun Organization.
