Phyllis Saint James

Los Angeles-based vocalist Phyllis St. Adam was a prolific composer in the first ’80s. She composed music for Norman Connors, Jean Carne, Rodney Franklin, as well as the Jones Girls, amongst others, before putting your signature on her own cope with Motown in 1984. Her lone LP fizzled, and St. Adam turned to program work. She do history vocals on albums by Franklin, Randy Crawford, and Atlantic Starr, amongst others.
