Dead Child

Shaped in 2005 by David Pajo of Slint, Louisville’s Deceased Child catch the sound and fury of classic steel. By fusing collectively the rumbling doom of Dark Sabbath using the rate and vocal acrobatics of Judas Priest, Deceased Kid create music that catches the audio and experience of classic rock without irony. Alongside Pajo are guitarist Michael McMahan and bassist Todd Make, both of whom used Pajo through the 2005 Slint reunion, in addition to drummer Tony Bailey and vocalist Dahm. Prior to the group could do any saving, Dead Child made an appearance within the Louisville, KY, installment of Brenda Canty’s Burn off to Glow film series, carrying out their first music, “Never Wager the Devil YOUR MIND.” In 2007 the group released a self-titled EP on Chilly Sweat Information. Their 1st full-length album, Assault, arrived in Apr 2008 on Contact & Go Information imprint Quarterstick.
