13 ml

Latin rock-band from San José, Costa Rica, shaped in January of 1998 by previous classmates in Don Bosco’s College. The name of the music group can be an abbreviation of 13 millas de libertad (13 mls of independence). In August of 1999, 13 ml journeyed to Panama to start out documenting its first record, made by Evan Rodaniche. By that point, the 13 ml lineup was vocalist Joan Cerdas Serrano, drummer Darwin, bassist Claudio López Sánchez, percussionist Osvaldo, guitarist Mario Mejia, trumpeter Jean Jaques González, and trombonist Richard Cortéz.
