Young Prisms

Young Prisms shaped at small Mills University before shifting to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in the past due 2000s. The five-piece group takes on a fiercely noisy and sneakily melodic make of retro-shoegaze that also displays traces of sound pop scrappiness and neo-psych dreaminess. In early stages, the music group’s lineup contains Jason Hendardy on electric guitar and vocals, Jordan Silbert on drums, Matt Allen on electric guitar and vocals, Stefanie Hodapp on vocals, and Giovanni Betteo on bass and vocals. After garnering some see around town because of their live established, bloggers and little labels began realizing them, as well. Their first information were a divide cassette with Worldwide Pc God and a Compact disc EP on Weedza Information. Immediately after, in past due 2009, white-hot label Mexican Summer months released a self-titled 12” one by the music group. This resulted in a batch of divide 7″ singles this year 2010 with Little Dark (on Big Appreciate Information from Japan), Weekend (on Transparent in the U.K.), and Mathemagic (on Atelier Ciseaux from France). This year 2010 Youthful Prisms produced a cope with U.S. label Kanine release a their initial full-length album. Close friends for Now arrived in January of 2011. Sometime following the album’s discharge, the music group parted methods with Hendardy and added Ashley Thomas on electric guitar and vocals. The group’s second record, AMONG, was made by Monte Vallier (who caused fellow sound poppers Weekend) and released by Kanine in March of 2012.
