Wrecking Crew

A Chicago music group that was formed from the rhythm portion of the Staple Performers in 1977, the Wrecking Team didn’t have an extended profession. Vocalists Nicholas Toler Williams, Jack port Chatman, and Timothy Terrell Austin doubled as business lead guitarist, bassist, and drummer respectively. These were became a member of by trumpeter and trombonist Bridget Paig, saxophonist Michael Jackson, trombonist and trumpeter Tag Rogers, keyboardist Anthony Space, guitarist Wilbert Anderson Crosby, and business lead vocalist Michael Avery. That they had several singles for Ercet and Audio of Florida respectively, but each fizzled in 1983.
