Wim de Craene

Created in Ghent in 1950, Belgian cabaret vocalist Wim de Craene started his career executing in Flemish folk music group Ja before he was taken beneath the wing of Miel Cools in the first ’70s, going to rating strikes with “Rozane,” “Breek Uit Jezelf,” and “Tim.” After composing his 1st musical, Help, Ik Get Een Miljoen, and double getting into his homeland’s Eurovision pre-selection competition, he started to include pop, rock and roll, disco, and fresh influx into his audio with diminishing results. 2 yrs after 1988’s last recording, Via Dolorosa, he dedicated suicide with an overdose of anti-depressants, nevertheless, his music offers since gained even more acknowledgement after his loss of life.
