William Ellwood

As the tale goes, Ellwood cajoled his parents into buying him an inexpensive, nearly unplayable guitar when he was 12 yrs . old. The device was as well warped to try out chords, therefore he developed the right-handed choosing design he uses even today. The Canadian-born musician later developed a pastime in renaissance and baroque music, trained himself to try out the lute, and finally designed a 7-string electric guitar therefore he could transcribe lute parts without compromising any voicings. Ellwood’s traditional music leanings are obvious on his Narada recordings, although his music includes a soft, contemporary experience to it aswell.
