Danish band WhoMadeWho play for the fringe of pop, dealing with famous brands Popular Chip and Digitalism while landing in vanguard labels like Gomma and Kompakt. Founded in 2003 in Copenhagen, the music group can be a trio made up of Tomas Høffding (bass, vocals), Jeppe Kjellberg (electric guitar, vocals), and Tomas Barfod (drums). Their disco-punk design draws from a variety of influences, included in this 1960s psychedelia, 1970s stoner rock and roll, 1980s post-punk, and 1990s electronica. Upon putting your signature on towards the Munich-based Gomma label, WhoMadeWho released several 12″ singles — Content Young lady (2004), Two Addresses for Your Party (2004), as well as the Loop (2005) — just before unveiling their full-length recording debut, WhoMadeWho (2005), which spawned two extra singles, Space for Lease (2005) and Away the entranceway (2005). To get these produces, the music group toured Europe thoroughly. Their second full-length recording, Green Variations (2006), was an acoustic interpretation of their eponymous debut full-length that was influenced by their encounters like a live touring music group. After a few many years of silence, WhoMadeWho came back in 2008 with a fresh single, Television Friend, that was followed in ’09 2009 by another single, This Teach, and an associated full-length recording, The Storyline. After becoming a member of the roster from the trendsetting Kompakt Information, WhoMadeWho released two even more albums, 2011’s Leg Deep and 2012’s Brighter. Their 2014 discharge, Dreams, discovered them moving nearer toward pop and agreed upon to a fresh label, Darup Affiliates.
