Wake Owl

Given birth to and raised in Southern California, vocalist/songwriter Colyn Cameron, the mastermind at the rear of bucolic, Pacific Northwest-based indie folk clothing Wake Owl, spent his formative years journeying the globe, logging hours in the U.K., Germany, Chile, and Canada just before heading back again to the U.S. and setting up the groundwork for what would ultimately become his debut EP beneath the moniker. The ensuing Wild Nation EP was released in 2013 through Vagrant Information, and got the group, which by this time around was centered out of Vancouver, English Columbia and included primary member and multi-instrumentalist Aiden Briscall, a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Designer of the entire year. Wake Owl’s Richard Swift-produced debut long-player, Personal World of Heaven, adopted in 2014.
