Violeta Parra

Daughter of the music teacher along with a vocalist/guitarist, Violeta Parra was influenced by her parents since being truly a child. At age nine, the youthful girl started performing and playing acoustic guitar, quickly composing traditional Chilean music. After engaged and getting married to Luis Cereceda in 1952, the vocalist/songwriter started touring the united states, assimilating the organic elegance of her indigenous land, which mainly inspired her function. In 1954, Violeta Parra relocated to Europe, determining to stay down in France, where in fact the artist started documenting her poetic tunes. When time for Chile in 1958, Violeta Parra got involved with painting and sculpture, increasing her artistic abilities a lot more. In 1961, the vocalist returned to European countries, this time performing alongside her child Isabel Parra and her child Angel Parra becoming in charge of keeping their mother’s legacy alive.
