Vassilis Saleas

Vasilis Saleas may be the foremost clarinet participant in Greece. A previous accompanist for Mikis Theodorakis, Dionisis Savopoulas, and Stamatis Spanoudakis, Saleas spent some time working with Greek modern instrumentalist and composer Vangelis Papathanasiou because the early ’90s. His debut single record, Orama: The Music of Vangelis, highlighted interpretations of Vangelis’ compositions. His second single record, Vasilios Saleas, implemented in 2000. Blessed in Mesedogi in 1958, Saleas transferred to Athens the next year. Taught to try out the clarinet at age nine by his dad and uncle, he performed his initial club concert 2 yrs later. By age 14 he previously learned the clarinet and documented his first disk.
