Most widely known for his use Battles so that as an experimental composer in his very own best, Tyondai Braxton began executing and composing in Middletown, Connecticut, in the first ’90s after learning composition on the School of Hartford’s Hartt College. Along with Take flight by Wire, an orchestral/digital piece that debuted at Carnegie Hall, 2013 also noticed the premiere of HIVE, a structure for modular synthesizers and acoustic percussion, in the Guggenheim Museum. The piece was also performed in Poland and Australia before it had been released as HIVE1 in 2015.
