From the same mildew as L.A.’s Paisley Underground rings, True Western world didn’t suit because these were from Davis, CA (operating from the close by nexus for electric guitar bands, SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA) and just a little darker and much less dreamy compared to the others. They debuted with Accurate Western world, an EP in 1983 on DRAW OUT Your Dead Information. It was made by the band’s Russ Tolman as well as the Fantasy Syndicate’s Steve Wynn. Hollywood Vacation, released by France’s then-very hip New Rose label that same season, included the debut EP in addition to some new paths. By 1984, the music group signed a cope with U.S. indie label PVC for Drifters.
