Austin-based trio Troller combine all of the best components of shoegaze, goth, commercial, and drone to their intense make of 21st hundred years darkwave. The group was founded this year 2010 by vocalist/bassist Amber Goers and synthesizer players Adam Jones (also from the uncategorizable 1000 Feet Whale Claw as well as the John Carpenter-worshipping synth quartet S U R V I V E) and Rosemary French. The group started gigging around Austin’s dive pub picture, and a self-titled cassette made an appearance on Living Tapes in past due 2011. The tape was reissued from the recently shaped Austin label Holodeck Information in 2012, so when it was released on vinyl in 2013, it received ecstatic evaluations through the underground music press. Handmade Parrots released the recording on CD, as well as the group continuing playing gigs, steadily creating a darker, heavier audio. By 2016, French have been changed by Justin Goers, as well as the trio released its second recording Graphic.
