Trey Ivey

Hailing from Cleveland, Georgia, Trey Ivey is a pianist focusing on Southern gospel. He started formal research of his device at age group five and created a pastime in multiple designs, including traditional, but was especially attracted to playing Southern gospel. As a teenager and youthful adult, he performed with groupings including the Aged Pathways, the Cathedrals, and Mike LeFevre Quartet before relocating to Nashville in 2011 to displace Tim Parton as pianist for Legacy Five, at only 21 years. He appeared for the group’s many albums over another 3 years before adding a single debut to his result. Released on Stowtown Information in 2015, Timeless provided instrumental variations of traditional hymns and gospel tracks, including “I’ve Got That Aged Time Religion in my own Heart.”
