Tony Curtis

b. St. Catherine, Jamaica, Western Indies. In 1991, Curtis relocated to Ocho Rios where he joined a local skill competition alongside DJ Jigsy Ruler. Curtis received the competition as Best Vocalist and Ruler was specified the earning DJ. Influenced by their triumph Barry O’Hare, of Roof International, recommended they record at his studios, which led to the successful one, ‘Butterfly’. While using the Roof staff Curtis also documented the haunting ‘Where MAY BE THE Love’ in conjunction with Stan Ryck. After his achievement with Roof International, Curtis became a member of the Stone Like staff, who released the probing ‘Perform YOU DESIRE To’ and by 1993 he previously toured Japan. In 1997, the vocalist got a Jamaican #1 1 strike, ‘Lacking You’, in conjunction with ARP and Beenie Guy. A year afterwards, he enjoyed a global strike with ‘My Female In Crimson’, made by Carl ‘Banton’ Nelson. While Curtis savoured an effective solo profession he also became a member of the vocal group L.U.S.T. , together with Performing Melody, Thriller U and Lukie D. The mixed performers stated the fact that group would place the ‘flava back to reggae’. L.U.S.T. performed at MIDEM 1998 and afterwards in NY at the 3rd Culturama celebration to important acclaim. Furthermore to his L.U.S.T. task, Curtis set up his solo profession with some strikes including, ‘I Can Journey’, ‘No one’, ‘Appreciate Should’ve Bought You House’, ‘House Only’, ‘Special Female’, ‘Party Period’, ‘Beliefs’, ‘Lose Your Girl’, ‘You Still left Me Unhappy’, along with a mixture with Merciless, ‘Wedded Life’.
