The Young Veins

After logging many years as members of Stress in the Disco, songwriters Ryan Ross and Jon Walker remaining the group in July 2009, citing creative differences as well as the desire to create their own band. The Adolescent Veins took form later on that month, having a classic pop/rock sound influenced from the Cookies, the Kinks, as well as the Cramps. Documenting classes for the music group’s first recording started that same summer season, with Phantom World’s Alex Greenwald and Very.Odd. maker Rob Mathes financing their help. As the Teen Veins continued focusing on the record, their lineup extended by adding keyboardist Nick Light, drummer Nick Murray, and bassist Andy Soukal, and the entire lineup released Have a Vacation! in middle-2010.
