The Yearlings are an alternative solution country group that came together within the unlikeliest of places: Utrecht, Holland. Developing in Sept of 1999, the mix of bassist Herman Gaaff, drummer Leon Geuyen, vocalist Niels Goudswaard, slip guitarist Bertram Mouritis, metal guitarist René vehicle Barneveld, and electrical guitarist Olaf Koeneman created out of an identical love from the genre. The music group began playing live later on that 12 months and immediately started producing waves in the neighborhood scene. Frequently playing Amsterdam with related groups, they were able to play the Ryan Adams afterparty and impressed the vocalist/songwriter. They documented their 1st, self-titled disk 2002 and released it that August on Sonic Rendezvous.
