Minneapolis’ indie sweethearts, Waves illustrate gossamer lyrical beauty with dreamy pop loops, leaving just a little to the creativity for stripped guitars, and detailed imagery isn’t overlooked. Formed from the Suspend Ups’ Jeff Kearns, Waves’ self-released 50 Hands in 1994, playing regional gigs and keeping a steady pursuing through band adjustments and musical directions. Five years later on, the band got a cope with March Information and issued Fire just a little Brighter.
