Songwriters Andy McLean and Gary Dark brown formed the Tenants with key pad participant Fraser MacDougall, drummer Derek Gassyt and bassist Lewis Mele. The group agreed upon with CBS and released a self-titled record in 1983; they split up a year afterwards.
