The Red Elvises

Siberian surf rockers the Crimson Elvises shaped in LA in 1996; founded by vocalist/guitarist Igor Yuzov and vocalist/bassist Oleg Bernov — Russian natives who previously teamed in the cult preferred folk-dance group Limpopo — the group afterwards grew to add balalaika virtuoso Zhenya Kolykhanov and drummer Avi Sills (the lone American-born member). Merging classic rock and roll & roll using a slew of cultural influences (and offering lyrics sung in both British and Russian), the Crimson Elvises rapidly started selling out night clubs through the entire L.A. region, and in middle-1996 released their debut LP Grooving towards the Moscow Defeat. Browsing in Siberia implemented early another year, as well as the 1998 discharge of I Wanna Find You BELLY DANCING was along with a documentary about the music group created for the wire network VH1. An appearance over the prime-time cleaning soap Melrose Place preceded the 1999 discharge of the Crimson Elvises’ fourth record, Russian Bellydance; Tremble Your Pelvis, as well as the live EP YOUR PREFERRED Band implemented a year afterwards. Welcome towards the Freak Present and Bedroom Boogiee kicked stuff off for the music group in the beginning of the fresh millennium, both released in early 2001. The music group took period to tour and gain the right promotion until they returned to the studio room to record Rokenrol, their 2002 launch.
