The Hoof & the Heel

Montreal-based quartet the Hoof & the Heel blend the lush vocals of Christine Hale and Harris Shper with electro-folk instrumentation to make rousing, summery melodies. The seed products for the group had been planted in 2008, when vocalist/guitarist Shper fulfilled drummer Farid Rener while operating collectively at a pub. Weeks later on, Hale relocated from LA to become listed on the band, getting keyboards aswell as her vocals towards the mix. Immediately after, the then-trio performed its first display, winning on the crowd along the way. In ’09 2009, the quartet embarked on the U.S. tour and documented its 1st EP, And All of the Tigers. Through the EP documenting procedure, Al Mal finished the lineup as bassist as he and Hale strike it off at a rock and roll lotto event. The music group self-released And All of the Tigers in springtime 2010, producing some buzz using the passionate music video for the music “Fireworks.”
