Doo wop group the holiday season formed in Pittsburgh, PA, originally comprising vocalists Charlie Hatfield, Frank Gori, Barbara Jo Lippzer, Franny Grisnik and Ramon Lancianese. After savoring limited success through the past due ’50s and early ’60s with singles like “Depressed Summer months,” “My Gal” and “Carol,” the lineup dissolved; over three years afterwards, Hatfield and Gori reactivated the holiday season name, nevertheless, recruiting new associates Ralph Falk, George Cost, Lisa Mineri-Kilmer and Sam Ferrella.
