Danceable post-punk band THE STYLE made a huge splash within their indigenous Denmark using their 2003 debut album, however the core members of the group — singer Jakob “Plastic material Child” Printzlau, guitarist Anders Find Axelsen, and bassist Religious Lignell Bækholm — have been using together since 1995. All three hail from the city of Svendborg, and their joint musical projects acquired ranged from commercial metallic group Faceplant towards the punky Joyphilter. Despite creating a strong group of fans in that second option incarnation, they made a decision to begin again from scuff following the departure of Joyphilter’s drummer, drafting in Jakob Ankaer Johansen on drums and Christoffer Griebel on keyboards. Despite some achievement across European countries and interest from MTV and Moving Stone, they got a protracted break from touring and documenting, during which people of the group returned to school, began family members, and honed their songwriting.
