The Deadly Syndrome

The Deadly Symptoms can be an indie folk quartet through the Silver Lake region of LA. Local Californians Will Etling (electric guitar) and Jesse Hoy (drums) fulfilled at the College or university of California in Santa Barbara, where in fact the annual Reel Loud Film Celebration (a UCSB custom offering student-made silent movies associated with live music) led to their initial musical cooperation. After mutual close friends introduced the music artists to Christopher Richard (vocals) and Mike Hughes (keyboards/drums), both of whom got relocated to L.A. through the East, the Lethal Syndrome was created in 2006. A small number of raucous shows in the L.A. membership circuit resulted in a agreement with Dim Mak Information that same season, and the music group released its debut recording, The Ortolan, in Sept 2007.
