The Classic Crime

Reflective Seattle rock outfit the Traditional Crime shaped in 2004 with vocalist Matt MacDonald, drummer Paul Erickson, bassist Alan Clark, and guitarists Justin Duque and Robbie Negrin. First achieving in senior high school, basically Negrin had been playing collectively in the music group Orizon before his addition prompted a name modification. They spent period on the highway in early 2006 with Mest and Teeth & Toenail labelmates Anberlin and Emery before the May launch of their debut recording, Albatross, and their 1st appearance within the Warped Tour. The next year brought even more touring as well as the acoustic EP Seattle Classes. Their following two produces, 2008’s Silver Wire and 2010’s Vagabonds, both got within the Billboard 200 and, although music group doesn’t brand itself Christian as rock and roll, the very best Ten from the Christian albums graph. After parting methods with Teeth & Toenail and with Duque, their self-produced 4th album, Phoenix, came via Goomba Music in 2012 and repeated that graph success. The Basic Crime celebrated a decade collectively in 2014 using the live record THAT WHICH WAS Done, Vol. 1: TEN YEARS Revisited, released by self-employed label BC Music. The Seattle co-operative also managed their fifth studio room LP, 2017’s How exactly to Be Human.
