The Cash Brothers

Brothers Andrew and Peter Money have long person music histories, although they only came together musically in 1999 for the very first time. They never performed music jointly as kids, but both are set up statistics in the Canadian music picture; Peter Money was the main songwriter for the Skydiggers, and Andrew Money was a longtime single artist who made an appearance in the rings L’Etranger and Ursula. After a decade of touring, composing, and documenting in these individual projects, the interested brothers made a decision to uncover what noises they could create if indeed they joined musical causes. The effect was 1999’s Raceway. The 1st track that they documented collectively, in 1997, was the name track around the recording. “I recall entering the control space to listen to what it sounded like,” Andrew recalled. “We simply looked at one another and stated: ‘Hey, that is going to function!'” The brothers’ vocal harmonies on that 1st recording effort foreshadowed that which was to arrive; between 1997 and 1999 the money Brothers developed a repertoire of over 40 tunes spanning styles from moody pop to option country and acoustic guitar rock and roll. Raceway features 12 of the tunes; the album’s musical trip showcases the variations and similarities of the talented brothers. How Was Tomorrow was released in springtime 2001.
