The Carter Brothers

This electric blues act using a soul bent documented for Jewel Details, among other brands. Roman Carter (business lead vocals, bass), Albert Carter (electric guitar), and Jerry Carter (vocals, piano) originated from Garland, AL, and started documenting in 1964 for manufacturer/songwriter Duke Coleman’s regional label. Stan Lewis’ Jewel Information licensed a set of their singles, which “Southern Nation Boy” surely got to amount 21 in the R&B graphs nationally.
