The Blue Up?

Created in Minneapolis in the mid-’80s, the Blue Up? includes vocalist/guitarist Rachael, bassist Carolyn Hurry, and drummer Renee Bracchi. The choice dance-pop group got their begin playing around the region, and was voted Greatest New Music group by Minneapolis’ First Avenue golf club. Rush departed immediately after, nevertheless, leaving Rachael to build up a concept recording, Presenting Sorrow. By 1991, the initial trio was back again together; they started gigging and documented Cake and Eat It independently four-track recorder. Released around the Catacombs label in 1992, the recording gained many changes around Minneapolis, including Bobby Z., originally the drummer for Prince’s music group, the Trend. He created the Blue Up?’s second recording, Spool Forka Dish, documented for Columbia in 1995.
