The Blackeyes

Founded in the summertime of 2000 following the demise of garage area rock and roll group the Gun Bag, the brother and sister duo of Nick and Katia Taylor performed around the Toronto golf club circuit perfecting what they term as dark country. After honing their musical design, the group moved into the studio room and documented From a Blue Space, that was released in Oct 2001 on Kosher Rock and roll Records. The music group is comparable to Crimson Home Painters and an early on edition of Cowboy Junkies. The recording received very much airplay on Canadian university circuits aswell as national channels. Since the launch of the recording, the amount of people and guest people offers included Bob Wiseman, aswell as people of Guh. In March 2002, the group performed at Canadian Music Week.
