Biography
Punkabilly revivalists the Amazing Crowns in fact began life because the Amazing Royal Crowns, releasing an eponymous debut album below that name in 1997 just before a lawsuit from the Royal Crown Revue forced these to shorten it. The band’s lineup presented vocalist Jason “Ruler” Kendall, guitarist J.D. Burgess, bassist Jack port “the Swinger” Hanlon, and drummer Judd Williams; because the Amazing Crowns, they continued to record albums like Payback Live and Royal, both released in 2000.
