SW/MM/NG began developing their hazy, summertime acoustic guitar pop in the faculty city of Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2011. Originally known as Swimming, they turned with their current, even more iconographic moniker following the arrival of the cease-and-desist purchase from a U.K. band of the same name. The fivesome cite traditional alt/indie works like Galaxie 500 as well as the Jesus and Mary String as influences that may be heard within their texturally fuzzy make of wish pop. After producing their name regionally, they found the interest of Brooklyn’s Aged Flame Information, which agreed upon them after label command saw the music group play a established at Austin’s SXSW. Their 2014 debut, Experience PRETTY GOOD, was preceded by some singles in the entire year before their album’s discharge.
