By their usage of merging the sounds of techno, hip-hop and folk, Montreal natives Bobby Lalonde and Michel Benac wished to begin something very different using their task Swing. Shaped in 1996, Lalonde and Benac will be the self-proclaimed innovators this original sound, that they self-proclaimed it as “Technotrad.” Tox Information observed the originality and released their debut La Chanson S@cre in 1999.
