Strange Celebrity

After shifting from his hometown of Chattanooga, TN, to Nashville, guitarist/vocalist Luke Dark brown started to write songs and developed a vision for the rock-band of his dreams that could ultimately become Strange Superstar. With NJ drummer Rick Wilson, guitarist Quinton Gibson, and bassist Tracy Ferrie, Unusual Celebrity was created and work started around the group’s debut recording with maker Dan Wilde from the Rembrandts. Released in June 2003, Treatment centered on radio-friendly rock and roll with lyrics which were frequently romantic and inspirational. Unusual Celebrity isn’t marketed like a CCM rock and roll group, however the bandmembers perform recognize their religious side and gently incorporate it to their music.
