Biography
Densely layered and deeply textured soundscapes are evoked with the music of pianist and composer Stephen Bacchus. Fusing traditional, jazz, modern, globe and ambient music, Bacchus is constantly on the explore the tonal likelihood of his music. Based on the Aquarian “(Bacchus) rates one of the better MODERN composers”. From first memory space, Bacchus was influenced by saving technology and musique concrète. Composing his first parts at age fourteen, Bacchus enhanced his abilities at York School in Toronto, where he gained a bachelor of great arts level with a significant in structure. Although he examined clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone and South Indian drumming, along with the piano, he provides increasingly focused even more on composing and it has documented his albums using studio room musicians and close friends to mention his musical tips. Furthermore to documenting four albums — Old Mysteries, Bardo, Pangaea and Ambient Roots — Bacchus caused Steve Roach, Vidna Obmana, Patrick O’Hearn and Vir Unis with an record, The Ambient Expanse, having a five motion collaborative piece documented at Roach’s studio room in Tucson, AZ.
