Stan Haldane

An undeservedly overlooked body in the Uk beat boom from the mid-’60s, Stan Haldane was the bassist within the last incarnation from the John Barry Seven. He was recruited straight into their successor group, the Alan Bown Established, in 1965. In the last mentioned group, he also supplied support vocals and, along with co-founder Jeff Bannister, was among its longer-serving associates. Haldane stuck with the Alan Bown Established through their changeover out of R&B and into psychedelia in 1967, and was with them directly into their putting your signature on to Island Information in the first ’70s. Unfortunately, he still left the music business in the 1980s.
