Biography
Produced in 1971, this progressive rock and roll trio highlighted Tony Brock (b. 31 March 1954, Bournemouth, Dorset, Britain; drums), Gary Margetts (electric guitar/vocals) and Tristram Margetts (bass/vocals). Their skill was initially discovered by Greg Lake, who had taken these to Harvest Information. In 1971 Harvest released their debut one, ‘Lonely Vocalist’. This is followed a calendar year afterwards by their initial, self-titled album. An attempt typical of that time period and genre, with complex keyboard and electric guitar codas dominating, Lake himself offered as the manufacturer. A second record offered even more of the same, and was practically ignored during discharge, though all Spontaneous Combustion’s information have grown to be collectible since within the wake of the nostalgia increase for the intensifying period. The group’s last discharge was the 1973 one, ‘Sabre Dance Pts 1 & 2’. Soon after Margetts worked frequently alongside Lake, while his sibling dropped from the music business. Brock became a member of first Strider then your Babys, and in the 80s became section of Rod Stewart’s support group.
