Schooner

Schooner were formed in Chapel Hill, NC, by vocalist/songwriter and guitarist Reid Johnson and bassist Tripp Cox, afterwards adding Johnson’s sister Kathryn Johnson (keyboards and vocals) and Billy Alphin (drums) with time for the band’s initial recordings, manufactured in March 2004. These led to Schooner’s first record, You JUST FORGET ABOUT Your Heart, released with the Pox Globe Empire label, that your group marketed by touring the East Coastline. They continued to try out displays during 2005 and 2006 while focusing on further recordings, on the way adding 5th member Megan Culton (cello, electric guitar, and support vocals). In 2006, they released the EPs 3×4 and Rocky P. In early 2007, they agreed upon to 54º 40′ or Combat! Information, which released their second full-length Compact disc, Hold on As well Tight, on August 21, 2007.
