b. 16 August 1944, LA, California, USA. Titelman was raised within the popular musical environment which was the 50s’ LA, and quickly produced connections which would help him throughout his lengthy career within the entertainment business. The main of the was Phil Spector. After producing his debut like a guitarist for the Paris Sisters’ ‘Become My Boy’ in 1961, Titelman became a full-time person in the Spectors Three Vocal Trio. By the next year he previously graduated from senior high school and began studying crisis at LA City College. That soundtrack began Titelman’s 25 yr association with Warner Brothers Information. Through his a friendly relationship with Lowell George he created Small Feat’s debut recording, but he didn’t turn into a full-time employee at Warners until July 1971 ‘because I had been just like a hippie and I didn’t desire a full-time work.’ He became friend and maker to Randy Newman, and with the 70s done tasks with James Taylor, Graham Central Station, Rickie Lee Jones and George Harrison. In the first 80s he created for Chaka Khan, and was co-producer on Paul Simon’s Hearts And Bone fragments. Beyond mainstream rock and roll and pop, his use jazz and R&B performers has combined him with George Benson, David Sanborn, Womack And Womack and Patti Austin. From 1989-94 he worked well extensively with Eric Clapton, and several cite his efforts to Journeyman, 24 Evenings, Unplugged and THROUGH THE Cradle as essential to Clapton’s renaissance.
