Rodrigo Lessa

An influential person in Nó em Pingo d’Água, Rodrigo Lessa participated in three of its albums, including Salvador, that was awarded with the Clear Prize as Best Instrumental Group. As arranger, he proved helpful for many best works like Ney Matogrosso, Guinga, Leila Pinheiro, and Ivan Lins. Being a sideman, he performed and documented for Chico Buarque, Paulinho da Viola, Sivuca, Rafael Rabelo, and Lula Galvão, and in addition participated in celebrations around European countries and North and SOUTH USA. His first single CD, Solbambá, premiered in 1998.
