Rock the Joint

Shaped by Jimmy “Chops” Sparling (drums) in Newcastlewest, County Limerick, Ireland, Rock and roll the Joint possess something of the eclectic method of Celtic music, salting it with a number of original songs by strap members Brendan Guerin (classical guitar, vocals) and Ralph Lee (bass, vocals) and addresses of such songs as Green Floyd’s “Want You Were Here.” Between the selections on the debut launch (recorded reside in Newcastlewest) are many traditionals, a music by the past due Newcastlewest songwriter Sean McCarthy, and many originals. The music group is curved out by Annette O’ Sullivan (tin whistles) and Sean Mac pc Mathuna (accordion). The band’s affects consist of Horslips and Thin Lizzy, rhythm-keeping becoming handled by experienced rocker Sparling on a complete drum kit, without bodhrans any place in view. Rock and roll the Joint have obtained many honours in Ireland since the look of them.
